This is a heavy-duty truck manufacturing company, where an automated welding production line in the workshop requires treatment for welding fume dust.
Based on the on-site conditions and customer requirements, a dust collection system using a telescopic dust hood has been implemented. This system is equipped with four sets of Meilan Environmental's 15,000 CFM cartridge dust collectors.
The main dust collectors are positioned in a suitable indoor location. Given that overhead cranes are necessary for handling workpieces, the top of the telescopic dust hood features a retractable design to facilitate crane operations.
Surrounding the hood, arc shielding curtains are installed to maintain a relatively enclosed space within the welding room, preventing welding fumes from escaping.
